Hotel Swexan is excellent. My work booked this for our team. I heard nothing but praises from them and I agree. This was only a few blocks from our office. Rooms were modern and spacious. Everything felt new as they opened about two years ago. They serve food and drinks by the rooftop pool if you have a room key. There's also a bunch of restaurants downstairs. Great job everyone at Hotel Swexan.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in America (which is not a high bar…). Great service, spacious rooms. The only issue is their windows are not soundproof, so there is a fair bit of noise from the road

I recently stayed at Hôtel Swexan in downtown Dallas with a group of friends, and it was nothing short of exceptional. If I wasn't a local, this would undoubtedly be my top choice for accommodation in the city. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a delightful fragrance and an impeccably stylish ambiance. The location couldn't have been better, situated right in the heart of downtown. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly stood out. But the crown jewel of our experience was the rooftop pool and restaurant. With stunning views of the city skyline, it was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy delicious food and drinks. Hôtel Swexan exceeded all our expectations, earning a well-deserved five-star rating.

When a hotel in this price range decides to allow a film crew in to take over large parts of the property, close streets around it so guests that happen to be driving to the hotel can't get to it due to various film crew trucks, police, blocked streets, a myriad of one-way streets around the hotel that already make it challenging to get to, etc., at minimum, a large part of the stay should be comp'd for the guest's inconvenience. I happened to meet the general manager who indicated he would take care of this but, of course, that never happened. If you're going to rent the hotel as a filming location, fine, but do the right thing and close that day off for other events and guest stays. Alas, like all businesses these days, psychopathy runs amuck and all the business (and the people running it) care about are themselves, guests and clients be damned.

I could give a zero star if I could! They have the rudest customer service and reception staff I’ve ever encountered, especially a lady who introduced herself as “Alex”. I was talking to a guy at the reception about a complaint I had and this lady rudely interrupted our conversation, THROWING the manager’s card at me and ORDERING me to contact the manager if I need assistance. Rudest hotel reception I’ve ever seen in my life!! There are a lot of better options available in uptown area. Avoid this place if you don’t want to be treated super rudely!!!
