  When booking the hotel I had no idea it was under construction. Then I get a text when I'm half way there saying there will be no water during certain hours and if I want to cancel I can. I'm 2 hours away and just then found out the hotel was under construction. After a long day inside the Disney parks we come back to shower and the tub doesn't drain. Water up to my ankles and the tub is gross. The internet was horrible too. The only thing this hotel has going for them is their parking. I paid 195 for one night for a trash room. I knew better than to stay somewhere different than the clarion.

  Location is the best part about this place! If you are a city walker, you can get to Disneyland security in 10-15 minutes. Room was OK. Comfy beds. But the shower was abysmal - no water pressure at all. I also didn’t like that the entry to the second building was publicly open and not behind a key lock. The elevator is, but not the door. I stayed at the parks most of the time so I didn’t spend much time at the hotel. The reviews here worried me. But I was notified of the daily water shut off via text, so I already knew about that. Didn’t bother me. If you just want a comfy bed and a close place to stay, this can be it. Wasn’t offered a welcome drink. Also, I had booked the North tower but then got a South tower room, which was disappointing. It could’ve been so much more, but it was fine.

  This is one of my favorite hotels near Disney, 10 minute walking distance to the parks, phenomenal staff that go above and beyond to make your stay amazing ! I’ve been staying here for years, I take a trips every few moths and I’m extremely pleased each time. Room service is a decent price with great selection and flavor :) welcome drink is also a plus upon checking in and pool / lounge area is so cute ! I also love that they decorate for the seasons

  I need to start this review by staying I did not stay at this hotel but I had a reservation from 10/19 to 10/23. I was laying in bed on 10/18, the day before we were leaving for Disneyland and i decided to look up reviews on Hotel Lulu. You would think it was something I did when I book so why did I do it again. Well I found new reviews from the time I booked saying the hotel had the water turned off from 11-4pm during the days. This made me worry a little so I gave the property a call. Was told that it was indeed true due to their plumbing not being up to code with the city so they are doing repairs. It takes time unfortunately and the city takes their time that is out of their control. I gave the service 5 star because even though it was less than 24 hours till our check in, they did allow us to cancel our reservations for the inconvenience. I asked them why guests weren't notified when booking or it wasn't on the website and they said for marketing purposes they didn't put it on the site. They said I should have been notified if my number was on the reservation but I was not and many others who left a review was also not so I am leaving this review so that others can call before booking or just be aware of the situation. Water does get turned off during the day for various reasons. Was told plumbing not up to code and they're working with the city on repairs.

  *Please read friends* we booked this hotel for three night stay while we visited Disney (which is a very quick walk). However, there are quite a few issues we came across which have been ongoing for months as it seems. Unfortunately the water turns of from 11am to 4pm for “plumbing issues”, but from past reviews from months ago that have shared this continuous problem, it seems they are just turning off the water for financial reasons, in my opinion. As for quality of rooms, pretty decent to lay your head down after a long day. At a closer look, most details like the flooring, walls, and more are not up-kept or very clean. The main reason for me writing this particular review is that we asked for room service in the morning (on day 2 of our trip) and we got back in the late evening and no one had even touched our room. We took down our own trash to the constantly apologizing receptionist who didn’t actually put action to the matter till we came down a second time (another 30 min of waiting for room service) and finally she got a cleaner who apparently had thought she “already cleaned our room”. Honestly, stay here if you’ll be here one night. It’s do-able it’s decent. But if you want a great stay for a few nights? Take your research elsewhere and find what can be satisfactory in terms of quality and convenience. Side note: a lot of other key features and amenities are also “under construction” (along with the plumbing) but no such construction has even been heard or seen amongst these hotel grounds.
