I stayed here from September 19 to September 21, 2025. Overall, my stay went smoothly until after I checked out and realized I had forgotten my toiletry bag. I asked my girlfriend to pick it up for me, but when she did, I noticed that a few of my valuables — my watch, a silver bracelet, and a bottle of cologne — were missing. The smaller items, like my toothbrush and other toiletries, were still there, but not the more valuable ones. This experience left me really disappointed. I expected honesty and integrity from the staff, and it’s unfortunate to feel like I can’t trust that my belongings would be safe. For that reason, I can’t recommend this hotel. Guests should feel confident that their personal items will be respected and secure.

Hotel 43 is a nice spot in downtown Boise with great service and an unbeatable location. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment I checked in, and the hotel is within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants and things to do. Everything was clean and well kept, and it felt like the staff genuinely cared about making sure guests were comfortable. That said, the hotel does show its age a bit. The room felt slightly dated, the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I expected, the shower was on the small side, and the water pressure was pretty weak. None of those were dealbreakers, but they stood out enough to mention. Overall, I’d give it a solid 4 out of 5 stars, great service and location, just a few comfort details that could be improved.

Very nice room. Dead quiet. Not much in the way of food options in the hotel.

Very clean and modern hotel, exceptionally nice staff. No breakfast! Have to walk to their “sister property” a block away. (Didn’t do it) No bottled water for travelers. Get your Carafe from your room and head back to the lobby to fill it up. Arrived very late, room was pitch black and you have to place your key card in a slot in the wall to turn lights on, which is hard to find without lights…

i love how there are so many things close to the hotel right in the middle of the city aka coffee shops, restaurants, museums, movie theater, the capitol, local market, etc. all within 5 mins walking distance
