A fantastic place to stay near the old Montreal and Mount Royal. Very classy 20's decor. Nice and clean hotel, did not use facilities but it looked awesome. Parking can be a little challenging if you have a bigger vehicle. Will definitely stay here again.

We loved the decor of this hotel, the great service, the amazing pool, sauna and jacuzzi and some great café at the coffee shop downstairs. The hotel was trying to be kind by placing us in an accessible room (for space), but that also meant that we had no door between the toilet and shower and the room. This was very uncomfortable for a couple early on in their relationship and likely, to many, in any stage of their relationships. We did reach out as soon as we realized it and were told that this open concept is the norm at this hotel. A few days later, we found out that this isn't quite the case and by then, it was too late to exchange rooms. Other than that, the location is incredible and centrally located between all of the best areas of montreal. Also, if you come for a few days (5 in our case), please note that clothing storage is limited, but manageable. I would still recommend this hotel! Just with a door for the bathroom ;)

I recently stayed at the Honeyrose Hotel in Montreal, and I can honestly say this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve ever had — especially for a property under the Marriott Bonvoy umbrella. First off, I was charged twice for a one-night stay. To this day, the hotel cannot explain how or why that happened. I’ve called several times, and each time I get a different answer (or no answer at all). It’s clear there’s a serious lack of communication and training among the staff. When I booked over the phone, I was promised an upgrade and complimentary breakfast due to my Bonvoy status. Upon arrival, the staff acted like they had no idea what I was talking about — playing dumb and claiming there was no record of those promises. Only after I pressed the issue did they admit there had been a “miscommunication” between the booking agent and the hotel. In the end, they grudgingly offered the complimentary breakfast, which was mediocre at best. Throughout my stay, I found several staff members to be unprofessional and dismissive. Any time I raised an issue, I was met with indifference, as though they were doing me a favor just by listening. It’s clear the team is poorly trained, and the miscommunication between departments is constant and frustrating. They know they charged us twice and they are still trying to figure it out. Frankly, I’ve received far better service at the Sheraton and other comparable hotels. The Honeyrose’s management should take a serious look at their customer service standards, because this experience doesn’t reflect well on the brand at all. Sadly, I cannot recommend this hotel — especially not to high-valued clients or frequent travelers who expect professionalism, consistency, and integrity from a Marriott property. Rooms are cool but that’s about it.

I had high expectations and heard great things from many others who have stayed at this hotel. I’ve stayed at many a Bonvoy hotel- I was disappointed with this place. I found a sock in my bed which led me to believe the bed hadn’t been changed. It was a black sock so hard to miss had it gotten stuck in the sheets during cleaning. Reassuringly, the manager of the hotel was prompt to reply to me, apologize for the experience and comp me Bonvoy points. I find in post-Covid times, cleanliness is even more paramount. I don’t know if I’d stay here again in the near future. The best Bonvoy is still the Vancouver Westin Bayshore. They’re top tier and above most other Bonvoy locations in my book. I didn’t interact much with staff so I can’t comment- the person who did our late check-in was responsive. Parking is extra which is annoying to me. The underground lot was extremely tight to navigate with a sedan. You can see where others have missed their shot and scrapped the wall. One other thing— for a hotel with meticulous attention to decor— it was surprising to me that the wires behind the TV were so messy and in a tangled heap of a mess. This is a detail that I think shouldn’t be missed, especially when advertising as five star hotel.

This was an amazing hotel located just a short walk away from Complexe Desjardins Montreal. When we arrived outside of the hotel it already looked very nice. After, when we walked inside, we were so surprised about how amazing it looked. The decor exceeded our expectations. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and easy to talk to. Every time we got off the elevator they said a kind hello and continued to work. The fitness and pool area were gorgeous. The spa/hot-tub (do not be mistaken) was very hot and I much liked that after running the half marathon. My only remark is that the pool had a lot (and I mean a lot) of chlorine. The rooms were very spacious even for Montreal. The showers were also amazing and had great pressure! The decor again exceeded expectations. We would like to thank the staff for being welcoming and kind. Overall stay was absolutely terrible. Just kidding, it was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. Absolutely amazing!
