  As part of a home sale, HIP contracted with the previous owners of our house to replace rotten wood windows with new Pella units. HIP came out to do the work (removal and install) during the 1st half of 2023. These pictures are of actual work done by HIP. After trying to get a few issues corrected, the repairs often left the situation worse, or highlighted a lack of installation knowledge. For example, caulking over the top of drip caps, or not being careful and cutting into brickmoulding with their oscillating saws. The worst/funniest example, which I included a picture of, was where they used a huge bead of caulk on an interior corner to make up for a cockeyed/crooked install (and yes, the wall and studs are plumb). I attempted to work with them in the beginning, and to their credit their customer service was good in this regard and they weren't like "F you, our work is fine", but it got to a point where I couldn't in good conscience let them keep working on my house.

  HIP was subcontracted to insulate my garage. They contacted my promptly to schedule a time to do so and were on time the day of the appointment. The team of two were friendly, worked quickly, and left no mess behind.
