  It has very friendly staff. And rooms were very clean. The breakfast was very good and clean area to eat. I will stay here again.

  I'll be in a platinum customer i've been saying that all Best Westerns so far the best one in Gainesville is the grand Best Western this one is okay it just got some small problems that needs to be adjusted for example the pool says it's been clean as far as I can tell it was not cleaned and the other thing in the handicap bedroom which stayed in we didn't notice it till last night the turtles eat one of the bolts on there was never screw down as I told the front desk about this problem here comes the service person takes care of service and he's overestimating me and telling me it was partially loose without even seeing it that's funny cuz it was partially loose why was it all the way down so I tightened it up myself but like I said price so good rooms are nice and we would definitely stay there again like I said it's just some small problems and the other thing was the breakfast bar serving old coffee from the night before but we hope this review helped you out

  I drove 3 hours to Book a room for 1 day, man I wish I can stay longer!!!! Came here with my family and loved it. Very welcoming and felt like home away from home. They have a self serving breakfast area which we loved. Food was hot not cold.tasted very good! I also work in housekeeping myself and I have to say, when I came into my room I knew what I was looking for. Didn’t see not a strand of hair in my room, clean white sheets, clean floors, microwave, fridge. THE ROOM AND HOTEL SPOTLESS. For a very affordable price. Hotel is in the right area,so many options on restaurants but also in a quiet area as well. I will definitely choose HOM Hotel again when coming to Gainesville, worth the drive❤️

  We will not even get to stay at this hotel and, based on the conversation with onsite hotel staff, I am very glad we canceled our reservations. The property recently switched from Wyndham to Best Western, so they are calling all reservation holders to update credit card information. It was during this call I learned their cancellation policy is 30 days, and my card would be charged for the stay at 30 days before check in. "Katherine with K" was extraordinarily rude and condescending. I just booked a different property - at a higher price, even - instead of continuing with the HOM Hotel Gainesville. Customer service is very important in the hospitality industry, and the staff at HOM Hotel Gainesville come off as anything but hospitable.
