  Negative 0 stars. Booked a room, actually tried to cancel and were told absolutely not (our fault, we were outside the cancelation window) made arrangements to make sure we could make it. Got there and were told for $40 we could early check in, asked to just check our bags instead. Showed up to check in at the actual time, no rooms available. NO ROOMS not even a downgrade? Upgrade never offered just sorry, we have no where to put you? Excuse me- but we couldn’t cancel days ago now all of a sudden you’ve now where to put us? Waited 20 min for a manager who never came. Awful would NEVER book through here again.

  Room was barely surface clean. We dropped an item in the space between the head of the bed and the armoire and the floor there had not been touched to clean in a LONG time. The hallways and elevator were also not very clean. We left a day early without even asking for a refund as most of the associates were not outwardly friendly. The casino was basically the same. The streets are under construction on three sides of the property, and some closed, and we were not giving a warning by the hotel. Will not stay there again. First and last time.

  I checked out from the Tigers Suite at Hollywood Greektown. For the high price I paid, the experience was an absolute disappointment. We've stayed at Greektown before in a regular room, and while it's never been overly exciting, it's never been bad... until this visit. On a day where Detroit had three sell-out events all starting at 7p., we were greeted by a line that filled the lobby and only two desk agents working. We crawled through the line, arriving at the desk just shortly before 4pm. We've never had an issue getting a room between 2 and 4pm. Eventually, we made it to the front of and were told our suite wouldn't be ready until "at least 4pm." We took a seat with others in the crowded lobby, as we all exchanged stories about the range of reasons we were given for our rooms not being ready. No apologies for inconvenience or offers of assistance, just being told "at least 4pm." When we did make it up to our room, it left much to be desired. Despite being "recently" cleaned, we were met with dirt on the floor, stained (filthy) rugs, and a towel bar that was barely attached to the wall. The sleeping area did not have adequate outlets for two guests. We did not receive enough towels for two people, and only one bathrobe. The curtains did not close and let in all of the city lights all night long. While the decor was cute and on theme, the cost for what we received was disappointing. As a four star hotel, the dirt, grime and overall amenities were two star at best.

  Like my rating, this hotel is just OK. Some good things: fruity water in a dispenser at check-in. Fitness center had towels and water. Large lobby. Decent room. Some disappointing things: rooms are only cleaned upon request. We made a request, and the room was still not cleaned. I had to hail down a maid cart to ask for towels and to empty out our trash. There's only one trash can in the room Ours filled up and was spilling over after 2 days of no cleaning. Also found a condom wrapper on the floor of our room (not ours!) Fitness center equipment was a bit dusty.

  I did leave a review comment.So I will leave it again since somehow it got erased. Upon arrival I was not given the room that I paid for I was given a much smaller room with only one bed.What I had ordered was two beds. Once in the room. The coffee maker did not work.They said there was a steamer.There was not. On the second day, I requested the trash be emptied and we needed some towels and washcloths. I waited all day received nothing.I called again at night requesting the same thing and received nothing.I called the next day, asked for the same thing.And then I also added, I needed toilet paper.I received nothing.The trash was overflowing on the floor. I went downstairs and asked the lady at the front desk.Could they bring up a coffee maker that works?Could they empty my trash?Could they bring up some coffee?And could they bring me some towels?And washcloths and toilet paper.And in a very snotty tone, she said, oh, you just want everything. And guess what? We still got nothing. The best customer service I got was when I handed her my door key and was about to leave and she asked me, how was my visit.And I did not respond, that was the most pleasant person I encountered. And to make things even worse, the sheets they put on.The bed were just a flat sheet hanging off to the side.The mattress protector did not fit the bed, so it kept balling up inside of the bed. I promise you I will never stay at that hotel again.I will stay at the motor city.
