After Randy got here, the price was jacked up to $264 plus $125 for his “technician fee.” I showed him the email, told him no thanks, and he STILL said I owed his technician fee even though he did NO WORK! Avoid this company!

- SWSimon WilcoxNov 8, 20251.0Hoffmann Brothers: A $20 replacement part cost me $1000. I was told I needed a new drain pump for our Samsung dishwasher and quoted $475 for work and materials. (Later I found out that a basic drain pump costs $20.) A new dishwasher was $636, so I went for it - then I found out it wasn’t a stainless appliance so I upgraded to stainless for $863. I was charged for the service call even though I purchased a new dishwasher, so now I’ve spent $988. I wasn’t told what model I was getting, (all I was told was the brand, GE) and never received a cost breakdown outlining materials and labor. When I saw the dishwasher I paid a total of almost $1000 for, I discovered it was available at Home Depot for $328 and had a terrible rating (3-stars). They happily carted away our working Samsung dishwasher (no doubt for resale?). They also tried to upsell me to a monthly membership. With service like this, who needs enemies?
