  Best Vet ever! Great service, staff, communication and friendliness. My cat had to be hospitalized and I knew he was being very well taken care of. I have known Dr.Jones for many year and trust her with all of my animals. I tell everyone I know to go to her!

  The kind of vet every pet deserves. I have an 11½-year-old Great Dane named Dottie. Since she’s already outlived the average Great Dane lifespan of 7–10 years, she’s naturally facing some of the challenges that come with age. Over the years, Hickson Pet Wellness has cared for both Dottie and our cats, and I could easily share countless positive experiences—but I want to focus on our most recent visit. A few days ago, Dottie became very sick with nausea, vomiting, and severe diarrhea. I called the clinic around 4:15 p.m., even though they close at 5, and they told me to bring her in right away. When we arrived, Dr. Jones and another doctor spent a full hour examining her, running bloodwork, and—most importantly—making her feel comfortable, as they always do. She was diagnosed with pancreatitis. I absolutely love the holistic approach that Dr. Jones takes. She doesn’t rely solely on Western medicine; she also incorporates Chinese herbs and even acupuncture, which Dottie has benefited from for quite some time. I couldn’t believe the turnaround—after receiving acupuncture for her nausea and vomiting, Dottie hasn’t had a single episode since. She’s eating again, drinking water, and clearly feeling better. The next day, her hip pain flared up—an ongoing issue for her age and size. I texted Dr. Jones to let her know, and she actually called me personally. She said she wanted to see Dottie but understood how difficult it is to transport her now. Then she offered to make a house call. That kind of compassion truly warms my heart. Dr. Jones and her team are genuinely kind and patient. Dottie is fearful of strangers (my fault for not socializing her enough), yet they never make me feel bad about it. Instead, they move slowly, speak gently, and make her as comfortable as possible. On top of all that, their pricing is beyond fair. I’ve had pets my entire life, and I’ve never seen such high-quality care offered at such reasonable prices. I honestly don’t know how they do it—but I’m so grateful they do. I cannot recommend Hickson Pet Wellness highly enough. Dr. Jones and her team truly care about their patients and take the time to understand each animal’s unique needs. If you’re looking for a veterinarian who combines exceptional skill, genuine compassion, and a holistic approach to wellness, this is the place to go.

  Dr. Jones and her staff are awesome! They’re always quick and responsive to get me an appointment, and they are very caring and gentle when treating my dogs. I recently had to put down my 14 year-old beagle due to various complications. Dr. Jones was very empathetic, and she helped me navigate this process in a peaceful and dignified manner. I would highly recommend Hixson Pet Wellness Center to anyone!

  I would never recommend this place. She gave a very wrong diagnosis, made me feel like a hypochondriac, and like it was no big deal, added in extra info in the notes that was not exactly discussed, and my dog was actually starting to get very sick and ultimately lost her life and $12,000 in hospital later. Seriously, don’t go.
