I’ve been living here for over 3 years, and EV charging has been a constant issue the entire time. Out of the three chargers they advertise, only two ever worked — and one of those only partially. Now none of them are functional.
I’ve raised this issue multiple times, and management often blames “upper management,” but nothing gets done. For a property with such a high rating, it’s really disappointing to see advertised amenities neglected like this. If you rely on EV charging, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I moved in partly because this complex advertised three EV chargers. Since day one, only one of them has worked, and now, none of them do. For a community with 30+ electric vehicle owners, this is completely unacceptable.
What’s worse is that nothing seems to be getting done. I’ve reported the issue several times, have talked to other EV owners, and the response from corporate has been slow or nonexistent. For a complex with a 4.3 rating, this is not what you would expect.
I will update this review every week until there is progress.
Update September 21, 2025:
It has now been a full week since my initial review and there are still no functional EV chargers on the property. After speaking with other residents, I learned that the community has been requesting repairs for the other two chargers since 2023, meaning this has been a known problem for years. I am now forced to charge offsite which adds roughly eight extra hours per week of driving just to keep my car charged. This is not sustainable for residents who rely on EVs and should be addressed immediately.
Update September 29, 2025:
It has now been two weeks since my initial review and there are still no functional EV chargers on the property. I received an email from the community manager in response to my review, but it was clearly an AI generated message that still said “[your name here]” at the end. No emails have gone out to the community with any updates about the chargers, and at this point it seems unlikely they will ever be fixed. That shows exactly how little care and attention is being given to residents’ concerns.
Update October 7, 2025:
It has now been three weeks. Zero updates. Zero emails out to all residents about the status of the chargers. I have absolutely no reason to believe the chargers will actually be fixed. Starting now, I begin documenting every single thing wrong with this place. Let’s start with state of the building, which you can see in the newly uploaded photos. The way things have been going here, I don’t expect any of those to be fixed any time soon. I’ll keep updating each week. Stay tuned.
Update October 21, 2025: Five weeks. No working EV chargers. The property manager assured me that repairs would have been finished weeks ago. The best way I can describe the property manager is "facade." You get promised the world, but in reality, it's all performative bullcrap.
I have uploaded two new photos. The first is of the janky garage gate. I attempted to drive through the other day, it started to open, and all of a sudden slammed on the ground. If I wasn't paying attention and slammed on the breaks, my car would be incredibly damaged. It seems that the solution here is to call one of their repairmen to open it, rather than actually fixing it.
Now, the property manager did have one thing fixed that I called out. I uploaded a new photo and showed the part she had fixed a couple days ago. But she also left other parts the same. From what I can gather, the name of the game here management-wise, is to promise the world, under deliver, and only begin to attempt repairs when the bottom-line is threatened, money. It's far too late now. I have spent far too much time charging away from home. Even if the chargers get fixed now, this review isn't getting deleted. They could offer me rent here next year for $500 less, and I would not live here again. Hidden Creek was a massive downgrade to Gaithersburg Station, and not much of an upgrade from Park Station. I'll continue to update this. Stay tuned. I should say that Heidi, and upper management are absolutely the problem here. Everyone else in the leasing office should be promoted immediately.
Very nice 1 bedroom apt. It has everything we needed: washer/dryer, large enough kitchen for cooking and baking, air conditioning was perfect, cute size balcony, nice neighbors, very quiet, reasonable priced parking garage, valet weekday trash pickup, nice pool and really outstanding propert manager.

A Home That Became Part of Our Love Story
After three incredible years at Hidden Creek (summer 2022 - summer 2025), my wife and I are moving on due to a job relocation, and I felt compelled to share just how special this place has been to us.
When we first toured the model apartment as a young couple, we were absolutely enchanted. The five-star hotel aesthetic of the interior hallways, the pristine condition of everything - we honestly thought there was no way we'd be accepted into such a beautiful community. Getting that approval call was one of the happiest moments of our apartment hunting journey!
What makes Hidden Creek truly exceptional isn't just the stunning amenities - it's how this place became woven into the fabric of our lives. The crown jewel moment? We celebrated our wedding reception in the grand club room! Yes, it's THAT nice. The space is so elegant and beautifully appointed that it was perfect for our special day. Heidi, the community manager, was incredibly supportive in helping us coordinate this celebration. Her genuine care for residents, positive energy, and dedication to the community made us feel like we were living somewhere truly special.
Another unforgettable memory was the Christmas party management sponsored for the community. I had the incredible opportunity to DJ the event, and seeing the club room (yes, that amazing club room again!) transformed with festive lighting, residents singing karaoke, playing games, and dancing together was magical. It's rare to find an apartment community where you feel comfortable enough to contribute to and be part of events like this. That night perfectly captured what Hidden Creek is all about - residents, staff, and management coming together to create something special.
Speaking of staff, Larry deserves his own shout-out. Always helpful, always kind, always there with a smile and solution to any question. The entire maintenance team is phenomenal - professional yet approachable, handling every request within 24-48 hours (usually within 24!). Special recognition goes to Mario, and to his two colleagues whose names escape me after three years (I'm so sorry - you were both amazing and I promise I thanked you in person every time!). Whether it was a minor fix or a major issue, these guys made everything look easy.
The apartment itself exceeded every expectation: granite kitchen countertops and bar, stainless steel appliances, a private patio where we spent countless evenings, and a spacious laundry room with full-size washer and dryer (not those cramped combos you see elsewhere). The attention to detail in every finish made coming home a daily pleasure.
The amenities are outstanding: The climate-controlled storage lockers are HUGE and elevator-accessible - we fit so much in there! The covered garage protected our vehicles through every season. The grills became our go-to for spring and summer evenings - nothing beat those grilled chicken and steak dinners with friends. The pool is resort-quality (though my schedule didn't allow me to enjoy it as much as I wanted). The spacious meeting room provided a beautiful space for meetings.
But here's what really stood out: the sense of security and community. I often left my apartment door unlocked when running quick errands. One of my vehicles had a broken driver's door lock, yet I never worried about leaving it in the garage. In three years, we never had a single security issue. The management keeps residents well-informed about any incidents and appropriate precautions, creating an environment where everyone looks out for each other.
The surrounding area is equally impressive - beautiful new developments, safe neighborhoods, and convenient access to shopping. Parking was never an issue, even during busy times.
We're heartbroken to leave, but only a career opportunity could pull us away from Hidden Creek. To anyone considering making this their home: you're not just renting an apartment, you're joining a community that might just become part of your own love story. Thank you Hidden Creek!!!

I have lived in this apartment for 5 months now. Someone said safety is an issue, it’s an issue everywhere.i feel pretty safe here. Whenever there is an issue the office jumps on it. For example there was a serial pooper in the neighborhood. Dog poop or human poop God only knows was always in front of our door we complained about it twice they assured us it will be taken care of and about 2 weeks later no poop. It seems silly but they really do make sure you’re taken care of and my husband always says Larry still remembers me, usually leasing agents forget you after getting you in the door. There are minor issues but none that haven’t been promptly fixed. If you’re looking to move in, this is a really good place and the neighbors are always nice.
