Das Hotel ist sehr zentral, auch in der Nähe vom Empire State Building. Das Zimmer ist sehr klein.
Unfortunately, all the negative reviews are absolutely accurate. I experienced unfair, unexplained charges during my stay, and there’s a complete lack of transparency when it comes to how this hotel operates.
To make matters worse, I booked through the official Hilton app, only to be told by the hotel that they’re not actually affiliated with Hilton—despite appearing on their platform. The audacity and dishonesty are astonishing.
Horrible experience, and unfair charges. Would not recommend!!! pretty sure there are better hotels in NYC.
Stayed here for 4 nights, and as an IHG member, would expect complimentary bottles of water daily. Nevertheless, we asked for 2 bottles of water on the first day, and they gladly gave it to us, without informing that it was chargeable We went the next day to ask for another bottle and found out it was chargeable as US$4 for a tiny 200ml. Outrageous. The staff said they would waive it out of good will. (btw if you’re ever staying there, there’s a water dispenser on the first floor)
When we checked out, the reception confirmed that the US$4 water charge was waived and there were no other charges for our room. but when the bill came, they firstly, didn’t remove the US$4 water charge, and also, charged us US$30 for vodka from the mini bar! MIND you, my mother and i DO NOT drink alcohol so this charge was clearly inaccurate.
Such an unpleasant experience, wouldn’t recommend it, other reviews have also mentioned unfair charges and it is definitely true

Excellent service! We had an issue with the room on the first night and the general manager was so helpful and had us change rooms. The hotel is very nice, the area is good and is walking distance from most tourist attractions, we had no issues with the city noise

I stay in a lot of hotels because my job requires it. I don't have exorbitant standards because at the end of the day, it's a room to put my things and a place to sleep while I do my job. It's not the fanciness of the room that matters: it's reliability and customer services.
So when I lose my wallet on my trip halfway across the country and so I don't have a physical credit card, but STILL have tap to pay, working credit card numbers, cash, etc... what I need to hear from the front desk is "Okay... we will figure something out."
What I dont want to hear is: "We cant help you. Hotel policy. And we don't know where the manager is and cant reach them." I especially do not want to hear something as nonsensical as "Can you just go get a new credit card right now?"
New York is not the easiest city to be in as a traveler with nowhere to go for the night. A hotel that cannot do the bare minimum of working with a guest to figure out accommodations in a bad circumstance, or at LEAST have an available point of escalation, cannot be trusted as a destination in NYC. Or anywhere, honestly.
I cannot recommend this hotel.
