Dr. Shafeeq Ahmed, has been practicing in Hesperia for the last 14 years. Dr. Ahmed and his efficient staff provide top quality veterinary services for dogs and cats. Hesperia Animal Hospital offers complete dentistry and dental X-rays, a full lab, treatment areas, latest X-ray equipment, and a large surgery room, which is fitted with the latest and most advanced surgical equipment. The exhaust system in the work areas keeps the air clean, safe, and odor free. A centrally placed glass walled intensive care sector allows the doctor and staff to keep an eye on severely ill or recuperating pets. There are 4 spacious, clean and odor free exam rooms. Recuperating pets are boarded in rooms, dog runs, or cat kennels. The boarding areas have been designed to maintain a high level of hygiene. Pets suffering from communicable diseases like PARVO are housed in the contagious ward. The boarding and grooming facilities are lodged on the second floor. There are 40 dog runs, varying in size to provide a comfortable home for a Chihuahua or a big St. Bernard. The cat condos are completely separate from the dog runs. The hospital provides quality grooming services. We have experienced and qualified groomers in the hospital. While you are here, you can meet the groomer and setup an appointment.

Had a dog emergency and when I took my dog they said they didn't have a doctor then I had to drive like 10 minutes to another vet that actually had a doctor

Terrible, did not realize how misled I was until here my puppy was transferred elsewhere.
I took my 8 month old lab here for parvo. It was an unexpected and shocking case considering he is vaccinated. Dr. B recommended “overnight care” so we went through with it and picked him up 24 hours later as this was a Thursday/Friday and they’re closed on the weekends.
Friday we pick him up, he’s all full of vomit and poop, they didn’t even bother to clean him up. We told the staff here that we are going to rush him straight to an emergency care clinic for the weekend, and they assured us that they would leave his IV catheter in and give us all necessary paperwork.
They were going to discharge us WITHOUT copies of his bloodwork, documentation of his procedures, meds, etc . And gave us medication for “at home” care when we told the doctor multiple times he’s going to the emergency vet. Clear lack of communication here and to give directions for “at home” care for a dog within his first 48 hours of parvo is ridiculous, I’m not even a vet and I know this. Literally had to beg the doctor to write a summary of everything he did to our puppy and all he did was write down the medications on our receipt with writing so bad the vet we transferred him to couldn’t even recognize it, so we basically had to start fresh with treatment.
Finally the worst part. The new emergency vet asked where he was previously cared for, we told her Hesperia Animal Hospital. She then proceeds to tell us that Hesperia does NOT have staff overnight, maybe a nurse that checks once or twice if anything. So I basically paid almost $2000 to have my puppy with PARVO thrown in a kennel overnight. He would’ve been better off at home so I could at least check on him and give him the attention he needs.
Very frustrating, I didn’t want to jump to conclusions so I did research and was able to confirm that Hesperia does NOT have “overnight care”. Extreme lack of communication especially when dealing with a puppy with a life-threatening condition. Dr B. if your facility is not equipped to deal with my case, please be honest with me as I’m trusting you with my puppies life.
My puppy is still fighting, and is doing better at the Emergency vet. We would likely be much farther along in the recovery process if I had went elsewhere.

Took my wife's 8 month old schnauzer. In to be spated for $235. We went to pick up the dog and they said it's another $300 for early pregnancy disposal. Explain to her dogs never been out of the house. Dogs never been about any other dogs unless my rooster did her up that dog's not pregnant. Then she says oh okay. It's a uterus infection, okay, which is it? These people are a joke. They're just trying to steal money from you.
