  If you are thinking of getting a pool installed by Heritage please reconsider your decision. Be aware, they use deceptive contract practices. The way they have it worded seems reasonable at first, but all they do is try to get your money as fast as they can. They end up with 90% of your money even before they are more than halfway done. Then your project just sits...they have 90% of your money so they don't care. Buyer beware. They also made adjustments to the design and I was told I could either pay a crazy high amount, or I could pay him cash. He showed up at the door the next day requesting the cash in hand. There was no project oversight, and I ended up having to check everything and make sure things were done correctly. They installed equipment that was cheaper than what was listed in the contract, did not follow through with fixing the faulty sand filter they installed. Plus, in the end we were overcharged (which we were forced to do through contract price manipulation) and when we requested for them to make it right, they cease communication. I am still owed for overpayment and cannot get them to answer texts, emails, or certified mail. Don't put yourself though the same headache that we had to put ourselves through. Find a more reputable company.

  I had my pool resurfaced recently in a darker blue color. As a result my pool water is too warm. I called Caitlin at Heritage Pools about swapping out my heat pump for one that cools as well. She got me scheduled in less than 2 week's time. Caitlin found me a unit at a great price that will fit my needs. She has also found a buyer for my 2 year old heat pump and is coordinating between both of us. I am a new customer to Heritage (they shut my pool down last fall), but I have been very pleased with them, especially their customer service, and especially Caitlin. Update: my unit was installed (plumbed), but after I hooked up the electrical I was getting an error code of low pressure. I called in a heating and air person, and we had no freon in the unit. He tried to add some, but there was a massive leak. This was Friday afternoon. By Monday morning Caitlin said they were ordering a replacement. We had this unit installed a few days later, and it works great. This was great customer service to get this all to happen within one week. They even covered the charge for the heating and air person I called in. Also, props to Hayward for speeding the warranty process to approve the replacement unit within a couple hours.
