Yeesh. I was really hoping for this spot to be good. Wanted to get a margarita and some enchiladas. After seeing the small margarita was like $12 and large was about $16, that didn’t happen. There are spots here in Austin I can get a good mezcal cocktail for that much. So I got a beer. The enchiladas were not good either. Were they inedible? No. It was slightly rough getting through them but… I don’t eat meat so I got the spinach enchiladas. So, in most restaurants, they will sauté their spinach for whatever cooked dish they have (including enchiladas). This was literally a can of spinach inside two enchiladas. It was like…packed in there. And it was as if they didn’t even drain the canned spinach fully. The weird juices still coming out after cutting into every bite. Why not use fresh spinach? I can’t remember the last time a I ate at a restaurant that used canned, wet, packed-in spinach. The enchiladas were also barely even seasoned. Which then makes me wonder why their margaritas would be $16, if the food is like that. Unfortunately it was one of the worst meals I’ve had in a while but hey, see for yourself. The waitress was at least friendly.
