Helga's Catering is a full service catering and event planning for all occasions serving Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC for decades, we have been creating delicious menus and wonderful memories for families and organizations throughout the Washington area. With full service catering capabilities and event planning, we can help with everything from tents, tables, chairs and flowers to wedding planning, themes, and entertainment. If you need a special location for a party or business function, we offer and more than 50 gorgeous mansions, museums, gardens, and settings in Washington, Maryland and Northern Virginia. We take pride in helping every client create a truly extraordinary event. Our menus are just a starting point you can add or adjust any items or suggest additional entries or even family favorite recipes. - ELEvan&Steph De LunaSep 20, 20225.0Michael and his team did a phenomenal job catering our wedding at Briar Patch. Michael was extremely helpful with coordinating the menu and logistics as he accommodated all the allergens and substitutions for food. We got the dinner menu with the Intermezzo, which worked out great for the kids and provided a bit of laughter around the table for our guests as they thought that they got dessert after salads. The staff who served my wife and I before the wedding helped us get an actual meal before the wedding reception, and we loved being able to try everything that we picked out AND that the food wouldn't be in any group pictures with our guests. My family told me post wedding how great the staff was as well, so I'm thankful that all aspects of our wedding, both what we saw and what we didn't were enjoyed by all our guests.

It’s clear that he’s a pro—he anticipated what we would need given our venue and made the process so easy. We got the Greek meal and people raved about the food! He was also very flexible when we wanted to change up the menu to incorporate some family recipes and adapt to unique layout of the venue. Overall I highly recommend working with Helga’s.

We have had Helga's catering in the past, and we were happy to have them again. They were so attentive and professional and made our party hassle free. The team was extremely helpful in troubleshooting a problem we had with our tent (which they didn't even have to do, but were kind enough to help!!). They were thoughtful with organizing food, displaying it and plating it and thinking a step ahead, for example, having a cake knife ready to cut the cake before i even thought about it. The presentation of food was lovely and the food tasted great. They also did an amazing job with cleanup. We hope to see you again in the future, Chrissy, Gerald, Cesar, and Carlos!!! Thank you for a memorable night!!
