7:20 pm 11/5/25 We just walked out of the lounge at Heidi's. We've been coming here for years. And come often. There was two women behind the bar. We sat there. They made eye contact with us. Never once said xame ti see us , just kept doing their whatever . The bar had two other tables one already had to go boxes. The other was drinking. Somebody walks up to the bar with a lottery ticket ,he cashes out . She then turns to make a drink or something. And never once said, they'd be there to help us or anything. They both looked at it as a couple times we sat there for a while until we were so irritated. We got up and walked out unbelievable. They had the time to chit-chat with each other and laugh and carry on. But couldn't help paying customers. We have never dealt with this bartender before. I hope 30 years of loyal customers is worth your new bartender.

This is one of those places where all the old folks go, and for good reason! Comfort food. Laid back. Feels like I was transported back to the 90s in a nostalgic way.
For our 17th anniversary, my wife and I decided to check this place out. We got the fondue because its a great deal and it can easily feed four as an appetizer. It did not disappoint. Absolutely delightful. I got the razor clam and my wife got the cabbage rolls. I love razor clam and this was entirely new presentation to me, and the chef absolutely nailed it - it was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful texture. I also tried the cabbage rolls, and of course, coming off this big razor clam revelation, i was like "how could this even compare" but i was completely wowed by the perfect flavor balance and the artistry of this exemplary entree. I am so happy we came here. The service was very fast and friendly, our food came out good and hot, this restaurant is easily a top 10 for me. Thank you so much!
Food is always delicious, and take home or eat there bakery items are out of this world! Prices, like everywhere , have gotten a little high, but generally worth the cost. Heidi’s does have very reasonable lunch specials though that I would recommend highly, especially fish and chips with coleslaw.
This Swedish inspired diner caught my eye for lunch while driving through Gresham. It has a kitschy exterior with a watermill and gazebo that would be quite nice for outdoor seating on warmer days. The interior was a bit dated and dusty in places. The service was friendly, but a bit slow. It may be from the large layout of the restaurant and lounge making it a challenge. My pork schnitzel sandwich lunch special was a steal of a deal at $11.50 with fries included. It was homemade with tasty toppings of arugula, pickled onions, a sweet sauce, and cheese. In terms of quality to price ratio, the lunch specials are great. I would recommend any of the schnitzel dishes based on my experience.
