The cabin was really nice however the road leading to the cabin was extremely narrow and isn’t made for a large pickup truck. My children were screaming as we drove to and from the cabin. We wanted to provide our children with a new experience not traumatize them. Due to safety concerns, we didn’t stay out late. It would have been nice to be provided with detailed information on what to expect. After watching the news and hearing that a severe thunderstorm was coming to the area, we decided to check out early.

- VRVeronica RainsApr 11, 20222.0Heartland Cabin Rentals looks really nice online and I heard from a friend that it was a great place to stay. I booked in January 2022 for a vacation in July 2022. Now almost April we received a call that they canceled my reservation due to the owners selling cabin and they did not have anything else available. They did give a refund but did not refund the vacation insurance + tax. I think it is unfair because it was no fault of mine. Just make sure you do your homework. Now I'm booking close to the vacation at a different place, paying double the price. UGH!!!
