  I recently started a new job and unfortunately they did not have a health insurance plan. I did not know where to turn, because normally HR use to handle all of my benefits including health insurance. When I tried to sign up on my own with a well known health insurance company, the agent who helped me did not explain the details or break down any of the types of plans. As a result I signed up for the wrong plan & was charged an exorbitant amount of money in monthly premiums. This was very upsetting as this particular Health Insurance company automatically took out money out of my checking account and left me scrambling for a refund. I was exhausted - continuously calling Customer Service, getting shuffled to the next supervisor, the next department. It was really a nightmare! Then I realized that Omar does Insurance! He could help me out of my misery! He had helped a friend find a plan that was perfect for her. Why not give him a call? This was one of THE Best decisions I could have made! Omar was precise, detailed and professional. He did not shuffle me off to the next department. Instead he handled everything with clarity, explaining (in detail) all of the different plans for my age group and income bracket. He worked with me on my timeline. I never felt pushed or coerced into picking a plan that was right for me. When I had to postpone a call due to a personal issue, he was very good about rescheduling until I got my act together. In other words, he exhibits patience while maintaining a professional decorum. Omar communicates in a highly effective manner. A quality that I greatly appreciate regarding choosing the right insurance. I highly recommend Health Markets Insurance for anyone who needs the right coverage without the run around.
