  Tried calling them in advance before blindly placing an order on their website but the phone was off the hook or not receiving calls. I tried for 5 days... no luck. I took a chance and just placed an order and scheduled a delivery for 5 yards of top soil/leafgro mix. Heard nothing just got a receipt to my phone. Then randomly the next day I received a phone call the delivery guy was in the driveway with my soil. So in the end, I'm a happy customer. While their communication was terrible, their product was of good quality and it was delivered in the promised window. Thank you!

  Delivery was delayed and slow but did arrive in a 48 hour window. I ordered topsoil that was supposed to be triple screened but did have some rocks and mulch pieces in the topsoil.Overall, the topsoil was good but not great, much better quality than what you get in a bag. I would recommend them because they do communicate and for the most part keep you updated.

  I had a little trouble with the online order form (don’t let browser pre-fill with 9 digit zip), but the person who answered the phone at Hawkins helped resolve quickly. Delivery came the morning requested and driver quickly and politely dumped where we indicated. It was a small order, only 3 cubic yards.

  I made a large order of leaf grow and topsoil to be delivered separately on short notice, and they were very good at delivering with a very quick turnaround. The delivery staff were awesome and it took a lot of maneuvering to get the material to the desired destination, and they worked very hard to make that happen. However, the topsoil was not screened. There were many very large rocks ( i.e. 3+ inches) and even more 2+ inch rocks. And there was a lot of trash and plastic in the topsoil. I needed screen topsoil so I was disappointed that it was not screened as is indicated on their website and I was told when I called in advance of ordering. The leaf grow was great. But if you need screened top soil, I would not recommend.
