I asked Ja at waipahu what was outstanding in both my credit card and loan payment . She told me only my loan had an balance due. She wasn't honest with me as I just checked online and I have a balance due plus a late payment charge that could have been avoided. 😠 😡

I've stood with Abby a good 15 or so minutes asking about credit card replacement fee and she kept scrolling through my account and whatever she was doing , Leaving with no answer. Don't seem to be a reputable employee of Hawai'i USA fcu .

Unethical, Unlawful, Corrupt, and Untrustworthy are a few of the words that come to mind with this credit union. Save your time, and know your money will be safe with another bank! I trusted this credit union, it's consultants, representatives, and branch managers when I chose to refinance my car loan. The refinance process was a complete mess. The original check sent to my first lienholder was lost in the mail. The representative assisting me requested a stop payment and the establishment wired me the funds to then wire to my original lienholder. The original lienholder took the wire and later cashed the check that they ended up receiving. Not sure how this could happen if there was a stop payment placed. Both lienholders are now at fault however, this credit union suddenly stole all my money from my checking and savings accounts. I was never informed this could be a possible situation where loss prevention would take my money for a mistake that was not my fault but both lienholder's fault. I am now fighting to get all my hard-earned money reimbursed to my account. It's been two days without word from the regional manager of this establishment. I currently have a negative balance in my account, I can't get food to feed myself or my animals, I can't pay my bills (which will now add late fees and affect my credit), and worst of all I might lose the chance of purchasing my first condo. This credit union stole all my money at no fault of my own, but the fault of both establishments and elected not to tell their customer, myself, who has always made early payments to the refi loan I originally set up with this credit union. Save yourself the headache and time. This is something I will never get back. As an ethical bank, you have a fiduciary duty to uphold to your clients. Instead, I have been stripped away from all my money and left with nothing but to fight for what is rightfully mine. Don't trust this credit union!

Hawai"i USA Federal Credit Union took advantage of an elderly and his coherency, forcing him to transfer and open a new account and sign where there was NOT given any and or read off details of its purpose causing him to be penalized for something he did not ask for. Dishonesty and distasteful. The staff member(s) that has "helped" him should be fined and fired, let alone the management.
