HawaiiUSA Federal Credit Union is Hawaii’s largest credit union. Serving individuals and businesses through 13 branch locations statewide and convenient online services, HawaiiUSA is dedicated to the financial wellness of families, businesses, and local communities.
Its members benefit from valuable banking services such as rewards checking accounts, credit cards with perks, mortgages, and certificates to help them make the most of their savings.
Originally opened in 1936 as a credit union for educators, for nearly 90 years HawaiiUSA has inspired a culture of giving that is rooted in education and has since expanded to other areas of community need that impact financial health.
Even though it is a credit union, their ATM still charges a $3.50 usage fee when using another credit unions card. Maui County FCU is a better alternative with no fee if you need to withdraw cash.

One of the reasons to become a credit union member is the vast network of ATMs available for use. Unfortunately, even though their website says they are a Co-op Shared Branch, HawaiiUSA still charges other credit union members $3.25 to use their ATM. This is not a credit union that I would want to be a part of.
