Abbie Johnson came to our home this morning and serviced our furnace. She was very easy to work with and seemed to do a thorough job. We would highly recommend her for any future work. Diane Papritz.

BUYER BEWARE — DO NOT HIRE HARTS!
I called this company just to get a quote for an EV charger install, and it turned into a nightmare. Within 10 minutes of arriving, their technician damaged my breaker panel and wiring. He unnecessarily reached into a junction box, grabbed wires, and straightened them out — something that had nothing to do with providing a quote. In the process, he caused a hard fault on a 240V circuit that tripped both the 30A breaker and my 200A main breaker for the entire house. Sparks, smoke, and all.
Instead of owning up, the technician told me “everything was fine” without even testing anything. When I complained, they sent a service manager who also claimed there was no problem — but I later discovered they had scraped away burned material and wiped paint around the breaker box to cover it up. That’s two lies and an attempted cover-up.
Square D (the manufacturer of my panel and breakers) states that breakers should be replaced after a hard fault like this. At a minimum, my 30A breaker and neighboring 20A breakers should have been replaced. The service manager reluctantly swapped out only the single 30A breaker after I argued with him, but refused to do more.
My house is only 7 years old, and now the integrity of my 200A service panel is compromised. The replacement cost runs in the thousands, yet Harts’ idea of “making it right” was to send back the same technician who caused the damage and offer me a $400 “discount” — still charging me $900 for the charger install. I declined. Another local electrician in Poulsbo quoted me $700 for the same job and did the work professionally, passing inspection.
To make matters worse, two weeks later my refrigerator (on the breaker next to the damaged one) failed — very likely related to this incident.
This company is overpriced, reckless, and dishonest. Avoid them at all costs.

Coleman was great, very knowledgeable and helpful with the few issues we were having. He fixed our hard wire smoke detector, problem solved our electric outlet power issue and helped with an additional issue with our stove. I'm very grateful to have this company at our fingertips given some significant issues we've had with other electricians in the past.

The Tech seemed to know a lot about my concerns with my electrical system and was very thoughtful to discuss all options.
Explained all the options and we shall look them over and see if we can come up with a solution that we can handle.
We have NOT decided to go with Harts for our repairs, yet.
A huge decision for that amount of money and 13% interest is not really what we were looking for in financing. All other companies have 0% interest for at least a year to pay it off.
