Harrison Meadows was originally opened in 1917 as Green Meadow Country club. Over the years the club has progressed through several phased renovations producing a classic Westchester golf course. Harrison Meadows Country Club has some dramatic elevation changes causing it play longer than it really is, but the real challenge of the course is it’s small and undulating greens. Harrison Meadows Country Club was purchased by the town of Harrison in July of 2021 and is transitioning from a private facility to semi-private that offers Annual Passes.
Every time I have had the opportunity to visit Harrison Meadows I’ve been so impressed. The pool is very popular and busy, yet is run with strict standards and safety protocols.
The events I’ve attended (happy hour and a birthday party) were well run and super fun. Tennis is always busy and even has a divorce tennis group, lol. Harrison residents are very fortunate to have this 5 star club in their town!

I’ve been playing at Harrison Meadows for years, but the direction this course is heading in is disappointing. Prices for a round have steadily increased, and now it’s $200 for a weekend round with a cart—which is outrageous compared to other courses in the area. What’s even more surprising is that tee times are consistently wide open on weekends, so the demand clearly doesn’t justify the price.
It feels like they’re slowly trying to push the course toward being member-only or just for Harrison residents. But even as a Harrison resident myself, I was recently denied the ability to buy a bucket of balls and use the completely empty range simply because I didn’t have a tee time or a membership.
Between the skyrocketing rates and the overly restrictive policies, it’s hard to see the value here anymore. There are plenty of nearby courses offering a much better experience at a fairer price.

Granddaughter graduated from Purchase School. and a brunch celebration was held here.
The food and staff were great and demonstrated the excellent planning and execution made the celebration special to all attending.
That is difficult considering the wide range of ages being served in such a large group.
I passed my compliments of the proceedings and staff to Diane at the desk.
