  I felt Alyssa did a nice job at a good pace. We were able to try each of her lessons while she watched. She was kind enough to correct us if needed, and encourage us when things went well. She spent time one on one when needed. You need to understand that she is really training the human and you need to take that knowledge and implement the lessons outside of class. I plan on returning for the next class with Amos. With 6 dogs in the class it was a nice size class to get alot accomplished.

  Happy Tails employs knowledgeable trainers with a realistic approach, emphasizing the relationship between dog and handler. They understand that training isn't one-size-fits-all and that different dogs (and humans!) have different needs. It's a supportive environment that I look forward to training in every week. My dogs get excited whenever we pull into the parking lot, so I'd say they agree!

  I am a puppy raiser for a professional service dog agency. It is imperative that we have good, quality training for our puppies so that they can go on to be great service dogs for people who need some assistance to be independent. We have found the trainers at Happy Tails to be exceptional. They control the classes well, adjust to the temperaments of the dogs that are present, and allow us to remain true to the values and instructions of our particular service dog agency. I would highly recommend them for any of your training needs.

  Alyssa and the staff at Happy Tails are very knowledgeable! We had a great experience in both of our puppy and basic obedience classes. Alyssa was always willing to g to answer questions and help support the dogs/families in anyway she could! Highly recommend!

  Helpful, positive and experienced describes each staff member here! Not only do they focus on your relationship with your dog to meet your goals, but the staff also focuses on you, the human, and works to build that relationship, too. I can't say enough positive things about this place. They've won me over. I've attended several classes with my dogs and plan to continue. I also really enjoy meeting other dog owners and sharing stories and encouragement.
