It took over two weeks from my initial call for me to hear back from anyone, and during those two weeks I ended up calling back myself twice vs anyone reaching out to me after being told my 'messages were being passed along'. Someone did come out, but not on the originally discussed schedule, their evaluation was less than helpful and they were not able to provide any clear and documentation assessment of their initial visit. I would not use them again or recommend them.

Very unprofessional company. One of the workers jumped my gated privacy fence and trespassed while I was at work. The company is not considerate of anyone's schedule but their own.

I would like to preface this with the fact that I did not personally hire this company, but I live in a city that hired them to demolish multiple houses. Two days ago Hank's demolished a condemned home with kittens inside, a neighbor heard their cries and put out a call for help on a local Facebook page. Multiple concerned citizens showed up to help rescue these poor babies and we were able to find 2 still alive, but unfortunately 2 died during the initial demolition. When I frustratingly called Hank's to see how this could have happened and to see if they could send someone out to help, the receptionist informed me she would pass on the message and have someone call me back. When I called again, I was informed that the owner had been told, but he said to delegate my call to someone else. I never received a call back. I have continued calling since then to discuss this incident, but the owner is very obviously avoiding my calls. While accidents happen, through his act of avoiding this conflict altogether and not expressing remorse or empathy, the owner is proving himself to the community. Even someone from the city showed up to assess the situation, see if he could help, and apologized profusely for this accident. (I would also like to apologize again to Hank's receptionist for misdirecting my anger at her on that day and that you have been stuck in the middle of this situation since.)

Freedom Sings USA and the Village of Shiloh recently held a retreat for local veterans. Hank's Excavating & Landscaping was kind enough to sponsor the event. Without sponsors, this event could have never taken place. If you are looking for a company that takes care of the veterans WITHOUT ASKING FOR ANYTHING IN RETURN, you're looking in the right place. Thank you, Hank's Excavating & Landscaping,

I called this company and told them exactly what I needed and what situation I was in. He was fine with coming out to look at it for a potential bid and job. When he was there he told my wife that we have no swale between the property lines like we thought and said he would send us a bid within 3 to 4 days. Instead we got a letter via email that they were not going to take on the project because they were too busy. I then called them and truth be told they were worried about a potential involvement in a lawsuit after explaining this upfront on the phone conversation before they came to our property. They totally wasted our time, precious time on us getting our issue resolved which included making a swale between our two property lines.
