  I went to Halgatteok Northridge for the first time yesterday looking to eat some tteokbokki for lunch and I was not disappointed! I had heard about this place on Instagram and wanted to see how they measured up. I was very impressed-- I ordered the "Grandma' tteokbokki with cheese and a milk tea. The portion size was huge and I was able to have the leftovers later at home. The texture of the rice cakes was the best I have tried, perfectly soft yet chewy. The fish cakes were flavorful and it was chock full of veggies as well. I ordered the sauce mild but it still had a good kick as far as spice. The hard boiled egg was just perfect, with the yolk exactly in the center. I couldn't have asked for better. I will be back to try some of the other things on the menu!

  The cashier who took my order was friendly and helpful. Our food was really good! This is the rosé tteokbokki w cheese & ramen :p

  I visited for the first time and really enjoyed the food. The staff were kind, and the atmosphere was clean and pleasant. I used to like the LA location because it was delicious, and this place is just as good! Definitely worth a visit.
