Where do I even begin? This was, hands down, one of the worst restaurant experiences of my life — and I’ve eaten everywhere from street cafés to Michelin stars.
We arrived with a reservation, dressed up, ready for a beautiful night. Instead, we spent TWO HOURS standing like fools, clutching our cocktails and believing the endless lies:
“Your table will be ready in five minutes.”
“Just five more minutes.”
“Almost ready, I promise.”
They lied from the moment we arrived. Lied while we waited. Lied even as we watched other people — who paid for $500-per-person VIP tables only for drinks— being seated right in front of us.
It became painfully clear: unless you’re dropping half a grand just for drinks, you’re invisible. You don’t exist.
We stayed hopeful, we spent money at the bar, we waited patiently — and after two hours of being misled and ignored, we left. They didn’t just waste our evening; they stole our mood, our time, and vibe of the evening!
If you value honesty, respect, and a shred of decency, stay away. There are hundreds of amazing restaurants in Miami where you’ll be treated like a guest, not like an inconvenience.
This place? A masterclass in how to ruin what could have been a perfect night.
The worst service ever I went for my birthday celebration my friends call prior to the arrival and ask if we can bring a cake for the celebration and they said yes there is a fee to cut the cake and we agree the server took forever to come to the table when we finish to eat and when we ask for the cake he just too us we need to leave because the table was only for 2 hours we explain to him we bring the cake and he just said no because was only for two hours the table we ask then another person and said the same thing
Another world the service is horrible there a lot of people with is fine but he took forever to come to our table and he just said we need the table for another reservation
We used to go to diferentes places upper scale restaurants in Miami and that the first time we ask that we need to leave the table

Habibi Miami is a beautiful waterfront restaurant, bar, and lounge located on the Miami River. The decor is Arabic and very elegant. Their dinner menu is a fusion of Arabic and Mediterranean food. They have a full bar. Wear your finest designer fashion here. It is the perfect place for celebrating something special like a birthday, an engagement, an anniversary, a baby shower, a promotion or a girl's night out. The DJ was playing beautiful Arabic music sounds. There is no top 40 music here. But you will enjoy it nevertheless.
We each ordered the Don Julio reposados. We sat at the bar as we already had dinner. Our server, Davio, was friendly and attentive. Our drinks were perfectly made and chilled to perfection. The orange slices added awesome flavor to the tequila.
We were there on Sunday evening to see what it was all about and there were many beautiful ladies celebrating. I think they all left their husbands and boyfriends at home and partied to the Hilton.
Habibi recently opened next door to Kiki on the River restaurant. Parking is difficult to find but there is a valet parking lot across the street. Otherwise, it is street parking. We had a great time and will be returning.
I literally flew all the way from Toronto to see what the “Habibi Miami” hype was about — and I regret every second of it. My husband and I had dinner there last Thursday, and honestly? It was garbage wrapped in pretty lights.
The staff smiles at you when you walk in, but the second you sit down it turns into a full-on money grab. The menu makes zero sense. We ordered the $44 chicken meal and our server, Valentina, asked which sides we wanted — but conveniently forgot to mention they cost extra. She said “Brussels sprouts or couscous” like it was included, but surprise! You’ll see it on the bill later.
The food? Trash. The service? Pushy. The vibe? Fake. They literally told us we had two hours to eat, and the entire time staff kept hovering trying to upsell drinks because apparently water isn’t profitable enough.
Everything about this place screams wannabe Middle Eastern fantasy — except not a single person working there is Middle Eastern. Even the dancers. It’s all for show, no soul. The shisha menu had no prices, no clarity, just more smoke and mirrors (pun intended).
We’ve dined all over the world — Dubai, Abu Dhabi, the real deal — and trust me, Habibi Miami couldn’t hold a candle to even a basic café in the Middle East. This place is pure Instagram bait with zero authenticity.
When the bill came, they’d charged us for the sides, and I just laughed. Beautiful interior, but that’s literally the only thing worth mentioning.
Save your money. Go to Dubai, go to Doha, go anywhere else if you want real Middle Eastern luxury. Habibi Miami is just a glittery scam for tourists who don’t know better.
I came for an experience. I left with a headache and a receipt full of disappointment. ✌🏼
Before reading this just know that if you are Jewish or gay, you are not welcome here. It is very sad I find myself writing this review. I am an executive in Miami and I do not drink or party. I showed up with my husband on Saturday night for a birthday celebration with a party of 8. The reservation was for 9:30pm and the rest of the party had arrived at 9:30pm and were apparently waiting in the bar because the table was not ready. We arrived at 9:45pm and valet parked our car with them. We went inside and the hostess pointed us to the room on the left and said our party was in there. When we got into that room it was very busy so we stood on the side out of the way quietly texting g our party to ask where they were. As we found out they were not in that room. Immediately, a very intrusive and nasty male in a suit angrily said “you can’t be here” so we graciously said ok and walked out to the hostess stand where there were no people and texted again to our party. This very rude same employee followed us from the other room and said” you can’t stand here either” we asked him where we can text our friends he said “I don’t care but you can’t be here” so we gave him the name of the party and asked how we find them and he answered “that’s not my job you need to move” extremely rude. There were no people at all as we were standing on the side. I believe this was discrimination as we are Jewish and gay and was wearing a yarmulke. We were dressed in all high end designer clothing and, as I said before, we do not drink or party. We were there for our friend’s birthday. We are local and are very fortunate and blessed to live very well. Instead of gettin a manager or anything, we decided this is definitely an establishment we do not want to stay and quickly and quietly left. When we called our friends and told them what had happened they felt they were treated horribly as well but we decided not to give our business to such type of an establishment who clearly don’t care about service and are completely discriminatory, which is sad in itself. I urge anyone who is thinking to come to this establishment to think twice. There are several places to go where you are treated right. We went to La Grande Boucherie Miami on South point very upscale beautiful French Restaurant and they took us right away and it is a very elegant luxury establishment where they treat the customers with amazing care. Beautiful posh room upstairs where they have piano playing etc. Shame on the owners of Habibi for allowing prejudice people with no customer service experience. I am usually a silent person who just simply leaves and doesn’t go back but this was very personal and sad. This place no doubt will do well for a while until the next hot thing comes by. But I had to let people know how hurtful this was to be treated in such a manner. Not sure if I will take this further as this is not in my nature but it is extremely important to make others aware of this experience.
