I’ve been a loyal H-E-B Pharmacy customer for nearly 5 years and have always appreciated the service I received at my usual location. Recently, they were out of stock on a much-needed prescription, and after checking around, I found that many other H-E-B pharmacies were also out.
I called the H-E-B Pharmacy in Willis, and the woman who answered the phone was very polite and helpful. She confirmed the medication was in stock and was in the process of transferring my prescription when the pharmacist intervened and refused to fill it. I was told they needed to save the medication for their “regular” customers at that location.
While I understand wanting to prioritize local customers, this is incredibly frustrating for long-time H-E-B customers like myself who are simply trying to get their medication filled. It’s disheartening to be turned away by one H-E-B location while still being a committed customer of the brand. There needs to be better consistency and customer care across all H-E-B pharmacies.

I really tried liking this pharmacy, but maybe it’s my luck. I’ve had a few prescriptions for my little one in these past few months and they’ve been out of stock on all of them. I’m not waiting 3-4 days to be in stock, for something I need urgently. I called Kroger’s and luckily they had this recent prescription in stock; I’m changing pharmacies no doubt.

This place is terrible. I have never dealt with a more disorganized and least helpful pharmacy in my life. Don’t fill prescriptions, lose them, never call or contact you, only fill half of them, totally clueless, and they don’t care.
Emily was AWESOME! I couldn’t get my prescription filled anywhere else and she made it happen with a wonderful positive attitude. Thank you Emily!!
