Of course they are going to stay busy because it's the best store in town but what's the point in an express lane if employees won't TELL people that its 15 items or less?

Curbside order made. Ordered 71 items and am missing 14 items. Produce picked out was perfect and would love to give max stars but really needed those items. Plus I paid for them.

Entirely too crowded and the associates are rude and disregarding. I didn't know how to use my tap to pay so instead of offering me some assistance he seemed tech savvy mid to late teenager but instead he cancelled my transaction and basically shooed me away. I had the money, infuriated to the point I was unable to drive so pulled over at the allsups right up the road and that cashier showed me how to set up and use my tap to pay in less then 10 minutes so round trip from when I left HEB and arrived back at HEB to get my groceries. I watched them out my bags down below a register. So I walked up to the check out I had previously gone through waited behind 3 people and when I asked him if I could get my groceries I knew how to complete the transaction now. Well he acted as if he hadn't seen me less then 30 minutes ago. He got another young lady who I explained what occured pointing to my bags underneath the register area and asking if we could ring them up again. She told me no those weren't mine and I must be mistaken......

Love the store, despite the incompetent bucket hat security guard who feels the need to intimidate and threaten my terminally ill and permanently disabled mom while she was waiting for me in the shade. I’m looking forward to introducing myself.
