- RRRussellSep 7, 20254.0The store is great but the bakery is another story. Last week I bought donut holes in the bakery area they were stale. Today one week later I bought a cheese coffee cake it was stale I bought a triple chocolate fudge cake I would not call it stale but it is very close. After retrying the cake it is not so much stale as dry and it is not an HEB branded product

- JBJacob ByrdAug 26, 20251.0Called the store and asked, "can I have custom burger patties made?" They said, "yes, as long as you buy the meat from us." Great. Drove to this store. Noone in the meat department has any idea what im talking about. "No we don't do that." Talked to the manager. He has no idea what im talking about. "No we don't do that." Called THAT store back while still in the store. They said the same thing. "If you buy the meat from us, we can grind and make you custom burger patties." I said "yes, I do want to buy the meat from you." Silence. Then "no we don't do that. Whatever the person in the meat department said is true." So after calling to confirm, driving up there, getting denied by the meat department and manager, calling AGAIN and having my first call confirmed and then denied in that SAME call, I wasted my time and nothing that is said on the phone coincides with what is said in person. At least Kroger told me up front they couldn't do it.
