Melissa has provided the best customer service I have ever experienced at any retail store; she is responsive, she always finds an answer for my detailed and complicated questions, sending me manufacturer PDF's, has sent me parts to ensure that they will work for my particular application and has done measurements on showroom blinds and shared them with me via e-mail. When I do purchase my (Hunter Douglass) blinds, there will be no guess work thanks to Melissa!

This is the best paint store in town! Not only is the staff knowledgeable and friendly. They mix paint faster than any other store I have been to. Also has the best art department around!

This store is really awesome. They have everything you could need for art supplies and paint. The only issue I have with this place are the employees. I came in here a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and his grandma, who has had a history of strokes. She has a stutter sometimes due to that. We were browsing in the art section and his grandma had questions about some of the stuff. The person at the front desk had a buzzcut and was extremely rude. I have never in my life, seen somebody treat an elderly person so disrespectfully in my life. It was absolutely disgusting the way that employee was speaking to her. They were acting like it was a nuisance to answer her questions and they looked at her in such a nasty way, to the point where I almost said something. I was in absolute shock. I decided to let it go as grandma didn't seem upset about it. Guiry's is her favorite store so she was worried about other things. I decided today I was going to give it another shot, and hopefully not run into that same employee. Usually I check closing times before I go places and make sure I don't go in if they're closing in less than 30 minutes, but I lost track of time and had no idea it was close to closing. The older employee with blonde hair sitting in the paint section called my boyfriend and I out as we were walking to the art supplies and said with a nasty attitude "We close in 2 minutes BY THE WAY." We just left after that because I'm not gonna shop when there are 2 minutes left because it's rude and as someone who works in customer service, I understand, but the way she spoke to us was completely rude. I don't have a problem that her intention was to kick us out, I have a problem with how she spoke to us. We apologized and left immediately. I understand everyone has bad days and these things aren't personal, but the complete disrespect of consumers who pay for products there is just insane to me. I would never treat a customer like that unless they were blatantly rude to me or my fellow coworkers, which on both instances, I was not and neither was my boyfriend or his grandma. We simply had questions the first time and just lost track of time the second time. People make mistakes. I will admit it was rude of us to walk in 2 minutes before closing, she just could have said it a lot nicer and we still would have left because we have manners. Anyway, employees are rude, store is great, but I probably wouldn't return because I honestly just don't feel very welcome here and don't really want to contribute my money to a store with employees who treat people disrespectfully.

I have been to Guiry's a few times and I love their art supply section. I could give a damn about wall paint, but can say their acyrllic selection is great! The prices are way lower than other places in town.
