  I have been going to Grimm's Fuel for as long as I can remember. Their staff is always professional, friendly and quick with their service! Prices are reasonable and the variety of the products they offer is better than any other facility around. Whether you are dropping off yard debris, or picking up loads of product, I couldn't recommend them more highly.

  Great place for dumping yard debris - $30 for a pickup load. Bark dust, garden mulch, fire wood. Nice employees.

  Service was good, "potting mix" was terrible. Do not buy this mix for container production. This was a devastating experience as a small nursery owner. I was baffled as to what was going on with my plants because they would remain stunted for months longer than it would normally take to fill their containers despite the usual watering and fertigation regime, and then would die a slow death. One might have improved results using this mix with maples or conifers, but I would not chance it given how nutrient locked it is. There was a considerable amount of plastic and glass debris in this mix as well. I compared with Pro-Grow potting mix and the difference was night and day. This cost me a tremendous amount of time, energy, and revenue to remedy the situation. Their pricing is not worth the cost to my business. Photos are attached so you can see the difference in plant health between Grimm's bad potting mix and a good potting mix (same species in both photos).

  Great local composting and organic waste processor. They created soil mixes and salvage logs wood waste for mulch firewood etc.
