The only real issue i have as a truck driver is setting in the OCC line on certain shifts! Each shift do things differently!

Use Piedmont Rd off Rt 60 NOT Rt 600! Truck route is clearly marked on Rt 60. If coming from the north down Rt 29 you must go all the way to Amherst and hit Rt 60 East. Once at the plant get on scale and while on scale go into booth to get weight ticket. I had a QR code from my dispatch to scan, then my weight ticket spit out. If delivering bails follow signs to OCC there are plenty of signs of you can read English. Go in door and put your scale ticket in any empty slot for the empty door that slot corresponds to. Place ticket facing away from you so dock workers can see it facing them. Slide tandems back and when you bump the dock chock your trailer. Red light is on while unloading. Red light still on and blue light is blinking, you are empty but need to sweep trailer out before pulling away. They have brooms but having your own blower would be helpful. I was also picking up from there, so while getting unloaded I walked across the yard to shipping and got my instructions for where to go and what to do. After unloaded and trailer swept, return to outbound scale just across from the inbound scale you already weighed-in on. While on scale walk to booth and see the nice lady for further instructions for shipping. Once loaded, slide your tandems back to where you want them, go to outbound scale again and when they give you the go-ahead to leave, roll on. No need to go back to the nice lady at the window. Leave the way you came via Rt 657 Piedmont Rd and Rt 60. The place can be a little intimidating but take your time, be humble, and ask questions nicely. You’ll get respect if you give respect.
