This is a cardboard recycling facility. The Greif San Jose location is located at 388 East Alma Ave., San Jose, CA. Greif paper packaging is a net-positive recycler.
Overnight parking on street. Walk into facility to check in at window. Lady will explain process. Small but organized. Seems like one truck inside at a time. Will scale empty and loaded. Scale weighs light. People are pleasant and helpful.

OTR Truck driver review.
They were pretty quick to load me, took about an hour from check in.
Probably easier to come west on Alma. The right turn from 10th Street onto Alma is tight and the power pole there has taken a beating.
Park on the street to check in.
When directed, pull onto scale.
Then you BACK off the scale.
It's a sight side back to their mobile ramp. It wasn't too hard for this rookie, but I could see it being a problem if there's any sort of traffic.
Then you pull back on the ramp to weigh out.

They are pretty quick but be careful with the scale try to be 500LBS o more less.
My drives were 33,880, but at the CAT SCALE it was 34,220. Better be safe than sorry. I was able to fix it by sliding the axle about two holes.
Space is not that bad, but its pretty small.

What is OCC? What does it stand for, and what is it?
OCC stands for Old Corrugated Container. It's an industry term for cardboard that is collected for the repulping process. OCC is the basis or raw material used in the creation of most new paper and cardboard.
You are a recycler, but what do you recycle and what do you reject?
At Greif, we operate 18 recycling facilities located across the U.S., where we provide industrial and commercial collection and recycling services, primarily focused on paper – or fiber-recovery. https://www.greif.com/what-we-recycle-and-what-we-dont/#what-we-recycle
What kind of recycling do you do, and what sets you apart from the others?
As a commercial and industrial recycling partner, recycling at Greif is different from consumer-facing recycling in that we are more focused on specific substrates – fiber, plastics, metal, etc. than individual products.
