Greenstone is an absolute joke! We met with Jeremy with Greenstone and toured multiple homes. Fell in love with the neighborhood and sold our home to be able to purchase and live in the river district after showing our interest and putting in multiple offers they have now not accepted our offer twice. We have been told multiple times that we had a good chance and as long as we kept showing interest we will get one of our offers accepted. We are so fed up with all the lies Greenstone has told us and we will not be putting in anymore offers as they have screwed us over and over time after time.

Our experience with Greenstone was not positive. We were the second owner of the home but the first owner (a single 50+ year old woman) lived in the home for 2 weeks before listing it for sale. When we moved in the home had only been completed for 2 months; essentially the home was brand new. None of the trim was caulked nor nail holes filled with putty throughout the entire home. In addition, the stairs off the front porch broke away from the patio and sloped to the street bending and bowing the siding on the house. We contacted them immediately upon moving in to remedy the problems but were told they would not even guarantee the home for one year as we were technically the second owners of the home and they were not responsible for any problems with the home. Several of the homes on our street had porches that sagged or broke away from the house requiring costly repairs. In addition, our house along with several others on our street had sprinkler pipes break where the pipe leaves the house turns 90 degrees to the ground. In the spring of 2005 or 2006, 4 or 5 of our neighbors all had that water connection break requiring repair. We've lived in our home for 16 years now, and I still have ill will when I look at our bowing and bent siding and cracked stairs on the front porch and think about the time I spent filling hundreds of nail holes and caulking every square inch of my homes trim. The drywall has also had screws which push out over time leaving a bump or crack in the drywall. The paint was of poor quality and could be wiped off the walls with a damp washcloth if rubbed with any real pressure. Many of my neighbors and I haved sarcastically joked about "greenstone quality" over the years when comparing notes about common problems about our homes. Hard to believe a builder won't guarantee their work for even 365 days for a purchase in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
