- CYCondemn YouOct 3, 20251.0They don't do a good enough job to accept a fee. I went out of convenience. They don't care or don't know how to do a good job. They leave things crooked. They don't clean up and cut hair with attention to detail. Real quick sloppy haircuts. Haircuts we pay for then have to go home and fix ourselves. There's no reason to go to great clips then.

- DSD “Just another reviewer” SAug 23, 20252.0My son got his hair cut there on Saturday, 8/23 at approximately 10 am. The stylist assigned to him (mid-to-late 40s, I think) was not friendly at all with a surly attitude. Furthermore, my son complained that she pulled and tugged hard and seemed like an "angry lady". Also when I paid, I asked for change back on a $20 (I had a $12 coupon), she muttered some nasty comment to her colleague when she was giving me change, assuming that I would not tip her, at which time I told her to keep $5 for a tip. She did thank me, but again appeared very bitter and jaded. If you're going to be in customer service, please have a better attitude. It doesn't have to be perfect, but at least make an effort. My son wants to change locations (maybe even go to a completely different hair salon company) as a direct result of this, and I support him in that. It doesn't matter if the end result of a haircut is decent (which this one was); half the experience is having a stylist who is at least halfway nice. With all due respect, she either needs to take a few days' off or find another line of work.

When is Online Check-In available?
Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.
Can I use Online Check-In for all types of services?
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
Do Great Clips salons sell haircare products?
