- EMEmily MOct 13, 20251.0I'm just a busy mom who wanted a cute cut and some me-time today. Instead my interaction here ruined my whole day. I will never be back here. Rachel is extremely unprofessional and has terrible customer service. She was rude right off the bat. I wanted bangs and layers. She cut my bangs in one cut and snipped like 2 pieces of hair and asked if that was it. I had been in the chair less than a minute.... I asked her to cut my bangs shorter (because it looked nothing like the picture I showed her) and she had done no layers. She got extremely rude after this, making derogatory comments about my hair having breakage, not in a concerned helpful way but just being rude. She continued muttering under her breathe while cutting my hair. Then she was extremely aggressive about combing my hair, she was yanking so hard my head was pulling to the side and chunks of hair were being ripped out and falling on the floor. She was also getting my ears and face with the comb. I tried explaining more about the layers I wanted because she seemed confused and irritated and she just got even more agitated. She just straight cut my bangs, didn't even clean or trim them up. I had to finish up my hair at home myself just to not be embarrassed. She was also rude and snippy with customers trying to check in for their appointments. She was so extremely unpleasant all around from beginning to end of the appointment. I see there are plenty of other negative reviews about her over the past year so it's not just me.

Got home and noticed the left side is way shorter than the right. As well as she has lots of forgotten pieces.My daughter decided she wanted her hair cut over night so next time I'll find a salon and make her wait.

When is Online Check-In available?
Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.
Can I use Online Check-In for all types of services?
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
Do Great Clips salons sell haircare products?
