The only person there who I can honestly say did a great job cutting my hair was Ms Sunni. I went there a couple of days ago requesting a line up in the back and it was the biggest regret, I don’t know if they just love to give you square lineups but my hair looked worse coming out than when I went in, she had the nerve to charge me $20, usually I tip but it wasn’t worth a tip. I already feel like they don’t want to deal with African Americans when I go there but 7/30/25 will be the first and last time I’ll ever go back there. I’d much rather hand the clippers to my 1 year old than go back there. Not to mention, the stations aren’t always the cleanest.

I tried to engage w her several times unsuccessfully. She couldn’t figure out what 1 - 2 inches was. Took my glasses and then wanted me to show her. It’s not rocket science. We had to review my part location over and over - even though my hair falls naturally to a side part, she couldn’t figure out how to part it - again it’s not HARD? She said w a sigh “do you need it dried?” Ummmm YES. So dried just the front and tells me I am all set. So check out I want 2 bottles of shampoo that are buy one get one 1/2 price. Well they don’t tell you that they increase the sale price to regular price before honoring the deal. Coupons - don’t even get me started. Tried 4 different coupons I got and was informed they are “fake”. So what I planned for $7.95 w coupon was $20. So I ask for senior discount and it’s $18. She gives me a look and clearly questions “your a senior?” The whole time, the manager was contributing to this conversation. What if I had only brought $10 with me???? My husband was just there this morning and told me that the stylist clearly didn’t want to be there.

When is Online Check-In available?
Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.
Can I use Online Check-In for all types of services?
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
Do Great Clips salons sell haircare products?
Yes, Great Clips offers three lines of its exclusively branded haircare and styling products for men, women, and kids, including Solutions by Great Clips®, Tea Tree Solutions by Great Clips®, and GRIT @ Great Clips™.
