- TLTiffany LiebermanOct 15, 20252.0They got me in very quickly on a Saturday, which was nice. The salon was clean and the staff was friendly. I only came in for a hair wash. Technically they washed my hair- they scrubbed the ends for quite awhile, but spent maybe 10 total seconds lightly cleaning my scalp. I left with my scalp still oily and ended up having to re-wash at home, which defeated the whole purpose of paying someone. My hair was also matted because you're not really supposed to scrub the ends like that :( not sure where they learned that technique.
- CSCT SSep 25, 20252.0Took her about eight minutes I paid a five dollar tip But probably shouldn’t have because I told her I come to her to cut because barbers usually use a razor and leaves a good white wall. My features do not go well with white walls. None the last one side white walls the other side pretty good the other side that’s not so good is Shaggy on the side. I think that’s unacceptable for a trained barber or stylus or whatever they call themselves at great clips. There are some good ones, but I but I haven’t seen any of last two times and I don’t know the names of those who did good jobs in the past And then again I don’t really know how to get a hold of them cause I guess they come and go to various shops get the good ones go where the money is and the lousy ones stay put here in Plainfield

I spent $75 at a “barber” shop to get a cut and shave. The “barber” absolutely destroyed my hair. The only place I could find open nearby was this Great Clips. A very pleasant young lady named Dawn checked me in within 30 seconds of walking in. I told her my situation and she was quick to take in the challenge. Dawn had me straight to a chair and went to work. She was able to 100% fix my disaster for less than half of what I paid to create it. Very happy, and I will be back. Thank you Dawn!

Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
