However, this time I had Suzy, a blonde stylist at the 72nd location (at least I think her name is Suzy because her name is on my receipt. Anyways, asked for a small trim (my hair was almost touching my shoulders length) and said the phrase “below the chin” and she gave me this. I feel so embarrassed and ugly and I hate her for it. Im an actor and so my look is very important to pay my bills, and now I wont be able to do some gigs because I have too different of a hair cut. And before anyone is like “oh did she ask if that was an okay length before she cut?” nope. Originally I wasnt going to say anything because she started with my right side and sure it was shorter than i wanted but it was manageable. Then, she went to the back and it felt REALLY short then she got to the left side and chopped it at least half an inch shorter than the otherside, which she had to fix because it was soooo uneven it was crazy. I even had to tell her about some uneven parts AFTER she was “done” since she didnt notice. She also didnt offer a mirror to see the back and honestly when I got in my car the back looks horrendous as well. Did Suzy even go to cosmetics school? Doesnt seem like it. Im so so upset. Ive been going to great clips at different locations for years and NEVER had a bad experience before. And I dont even like to write reviews usually because Im a pretty chill person who doesnt get upset often. So yeah pretty upset. Also for managers if you need, it is Friday September 26th at about 10:30 I got my haircut, there were only 2 employees in the salon and it was the blonde one in case I got the name wrong.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
