- DNDominic NoceraSep 18, 20251.0Clara left and the place has gone down hill fast. All the great stylists that have been there forever have left. The new owners have seemed to forget what made this place successful in the past…the stylists. Clara now at the Sports Clips in Jeff.

Lady cut my ear open, conplete lack of procedures for dealing with blood relation bio hazards, other stylists just standing around like the incident means nothing, blood dripping down onto the cape. Should've just walked out instead of taking their joke of a first aid, free cut compensation was not worth it. The stylist was careless to begin with and it made the completion of the cut tense and fearful. The bleeding went on for 4 hours and I had to go to the ER to get glued.

She always did an incredible job with my two sons - especially with one who is sensitive to sound. Clara was patient, gentle, and took extra time to make sure he felt comfortable. Because of her, my boys went from dreading haircuts to actually enjoying them. Unfortunately, our recent visit was the complete opposite experience. The stylist referenced notes from previous visits and confirmed what haircut my first son usually gets. He clearly expressed to the stylist that he is sensitive to noise, but the stylist showed no empathy or understanding. He became increasingly upset during the cut, and the stylist did nothing to help ease his discomfort. The haircut itself looked nothing like what Clara used to do - despite the notes - and for the first time ever, my son was visibly upset about how his hair looked afterward. I should have trusted my instincts and left before my second son’s turn, but I hoped the rest of the visit would go more smoothly. Sadly, that wasn’t the case. He ended up in tears, and I had to ask for a break to help calm him down. When we finally finished the haircut, my husband noticed his ear had been nicked and was bleeding, and he also had razor burn on his neck. For a salon that openly welcomes children, I expected the staff to be trained and prepared to work with them - especially those with sensory sensitivities. This experience was distressing and unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location or to any Great Clips in the future.
