  The only reason it gets two stars is because the waitress was very pleasant. I hope she finds a better place to work. Pancakes were just store bought mix. Syrup was Mrs. Buttersworth they couldn’t be bothered to put in a bottle. The sausage tasted like it was maybe a few days passed… how do you make eggs taste meh?

  Where do I even start…..miss granny cantrell’s you got my heart , can we get married and you move to Texas? Cause you are tooo good to be true!! You want some southern good eatin get yourself to granny cantrell’s for there lunch or dinner buffet , from the entree buffet to the salad bar to the desert bar it was perfection , magnificent all the words! I ate so much i almost could not walk out , any bad talk about this place you should be ashamed you must not have taste buds lol the staff is so sweet too & makes you feel like family love them we will be back when in Panama it’s now a staple! 🫶🏻🍗🍛🥗🍦🍰

  As locals, my hubby & I have made Granny Cantrell's a favorite for lunch or early dinner over the last few years... even telling our friends & neighbors. We have tried their buffet entrées that change throughout the week. Time has definitely overshadowed food quality: we have experienced, believe it or not, my hubby loves Meat Loaf, however, what we experienced there in the past was meatless Meat Loaf...just filler, period. I am not exaggerating. We stayed away because of the several disappointments in the past 6 months. We decided to visit last Friday, only to find mashed potatoes that you could not consume to the overload of salt...just last Friday! Way undercooked fish... transparent fish flesh is NOT appetizing. I did not finish my meal...it was that unappetizing. I told my hubby, NEVER again. We always buy the white plate, however, the quality is so poor that you are wasting your money. I loved their beef liver, their chicken liver menu days...and of course their fried chicken, and even their baked chicken (which happened to be very good last Friday.)We have tried...but not anymore. (Also, I witnessed a kitchen staff wipe his brow, then wipe the serving area of the buffet.)

  Wow The food is amazing a buffet of food that’s actually seasoned is amazing. I am very grateful that she is close to me and I can eat here. The prices are great too. I usually take mine out and I don’t eat much so when it weighs out it’s really cheap. The sweet tea is amazing. The staff is wonderful

  Service a little slow as it is seat yourself. No breakfast buffet thru week so menu only for breakfast. For the price it was just ok. Nothing was really a wow factor. I had the breakfast steak, medium, it was really tough and overcooked. My husband had the omelet with bacon, sausage and ham. The bacon and sausage inside the omelet was very burnt. So this time it was just blah. We will be back, but it will be for lunch buffet or Saturday breakfast buffet. Their fried chicken is to die for!!
