Our family has been training at Gracie Barra Centennial for a few years now and we can not say enough good things about this studio. All of the coaches are phenomenal, kind, and skilled at what they do. Our son has gained so much confidence from training at this studio. Although he trained at another gym for over a year prior to our move to GB Centennial he did not truly love the sport or feel confident in it until we joined the GB family. The women’s class on Tuesday nights run by Coach Mariah is one of my personal favorites but there is a class for everyone and most schedules. If you are looking for an inviting studio to learn, train or find a community, this is the place.

I've tried a couple of classes at a couple of other schools comparable in prestige/recognition/competitive status in town. I've also attended multiple similar schools in a couple of other cities each. All of them pale in comparison to this school. The instruction is top notch. The instructors are clearly motivated by a love of BJJ. By taking classes with all of them, you will be exposed to various styles, techniques, and approaches to BJJ. The community is wonderful. Some students are quite competitively minded, whereas others are hobbyists. Everyone takes care of one another when training and treats one another respectfully. The school is quite professionally run, too. Classes always begin and end on time, and the facility is always clean and well-maintained. Gracie Barra Centennial is a wonderful place to train BJJ and make great friends.

Our 4-year-old son has been attending Gracie Barra Centennial, and it has been such a positive experience. The coaches are patient, encouraging, and really know how to work with young kids. They balance discipline with fun, making each class engaging while still teaching important skills like focus, respect, and teamwork. We’ve seen a big boost in his confidence, coordination, and excitement for learning. The environment feels welcoming and supportive, not just for the kids but for families too. We’re so grateful for the dedication of the instructors and the community they’ve created. Highly recommend Gracie Barra Centennial to any parent looking for a safe, structured, and fun place for their child to learn jiu-jitsu!

Gracie Barra Centennial is hands-down the place to be for jiu-jitsu in Colorado. Under the expert guidance of Professor Robert Goodloe, this school has built something truly special—a welcoming, high-energy environment where everyone belongs, from complete beginners to seasoned competitors. I started training at Gracie Barra Centennial about 2 years ago as a beginner at 48 years old. The training is top-notch: structured, safe, and designed to help you grow in skill, confidence, and fitness. But what really sets this place apart is the atmosphere—it’s like joining a second family. You’ll find genuine camaraderie here, where teammates push each other to be better on and off the mats. If you’ve ever thought about starting jiu-jitsu—or you’re looking for a school that will reignite your passion for it—stop searching. Gracie Barra Centennial is where you’ll find world-class instruction, a supportive community, and a place you’ll be proud to call home.
