The vision of our 501(c3) nonprofit organization is that ALL people have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the power of work.Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is based in Nashville, Tenn. The agency serves 48 counties throughout Middle and West Tennessee, operating 30 retail stores and two outlet stores, about 53 Donation Express Centers and 13 Career Solutions Centers. The nonprofit is one of Tennessee’s largest employers of people with disabilities with more than 45 percent of our workforce reporting some type of disability or disadvantage. Although affiliated with Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Md., we operate independently through our own governing board of directors. Goodwill accepts gently-used items that donors no longer want, need or use. Those items are sold either in our retail stores or online at onlinegoodwill.com. Revenue from the sale of donated goods helps fund job training services and programs provided by Goodwill Career Solutions. In addition to retail sales, Goodwill depends on several other revenue sources, including state and local grants.

- LLLacy4 days ago1.0It had a decent selection but was very limited and not stocked properly. Items were noticeably out of place and carts everywhere. Not a fan of the staffing because the cashiers were oddly rude and people from the back were not in the back doing their correct job. Often the work lands on one person and that’s not the teamwork you’d expect from a job such as Goodwill. Very thankful I did not choose to work here and instead will be scooping ice cream 🥳 At least it’s an happy environment and will smell good (unlike this place, miserable and odd smelling) Respectfully, please take better care of this establishment if anyone works there sees this, thank you. I will not be coming back because i’d rather not pay for overly-priced items that are supposed to be cheaper than their usual price, especially since they are used, not more. Most of all, please add a better selection of dolls/figurines and make them look presentable please, ain’t no way y’all ruined my favorite section of the thrift store. Heartbreaking and absolute horror. No. Just no. Bad Goodwill, bad. Never go here, I am traumatized…..

I saw a young woman pull a full size chair out of her car and carry it up the ramp before my group in car behind her got out to help with a second chair. The young man worker just watched her. This was our second time there in two days because our uncle passed and we were donating from his condo. No one offered to help us after we asked. Pitiful. It’s like they are drawing a check to watch people suffer.
