Thrift Store
The vision of our 501(c3) nonprofit organization is that ALL people have the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the power of work.Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee is based in Nashville, Tenn. The agency serves 48 counties throughout Middle and West Tennessee, operating 30 retail stores and two outlet stores, about 53 Donation Express Centers and 13 Career Solutions Centers. The nonprofit is one of Tennessee’s largest employers of people with disabilities with more than 45 percent of our workforce reporting some type of disability or disadvantage. Although affiliated with Goodwill Industries International in Rockville, Md., we operate independently through our own governing board of directors. Goodwill accepts gently-used items that donors no longer want, need or use. Those items are sold either in our retail stores or online at onlinegoodwill.com. Revenue from the sale of donated goods helps fund job training services and programs provided by Goodwill Career Solutions. In addition to retail sales, Goodwill depends on several other revenue sources, including state and local grants.

Wish I could give a better score. This location continues to mark their housewares with sharpie. I can't tell you how many times I've found something I'd love to buy but they put sharpie on it. Why aren't price tags enough? It doesn't make any sense.

This place has gone down hill. The prices are horrible. The customer service is non existent. They have a cashier who is having a personal conversation the whole time he’s checking people out. They don’t give out bags for merchandise which I can get behind for the environment but the girl who took over for the guy on the phone flung everything on the counter so I had to stand there and try to put it all back in a pile to carry out. It’s a shame. This place makes too much money to treat customers this way. The employees act like they hate life.

I found a little end table and got the customer copy then when i went to pick it up a man had it on the register and bought it. Then I told the lady that was attending the guy that i had the copy so she reimbursed him. The she had the audacity to tell me that she raised the table price to me a dollar more. So i told her i need to speak to manager and she said that she was, come to find out she was just a team lead. I have been coming to this store for years and never had that happened to me.
