At Goodwill, we sell gently used merchandise and use the proceeds to help people in our community launch new careers. When you support Goodwill, you're helping create a brighter future for all.
I dropped off a tote of washes & folded clothes on Friday 08/15/2025.
Holly helped me and thanked me for the neatly folded clothes, we chatted briefly about the importance of giving back to the community through Goodwill, Habitat for Humanity, and Wouned Warrior foundation.
God bless you Holly, you're a beautiful kind soul. The world needs more people like you!

Some things to know about Goodwill. They are a for-profit company. You drop off free inventory to them and then they price it how they will and they get all the profit. Yes, you can do a tax write-off but how many people really do that at the end of the year? Next, you only have 7 days to return any clothes items. Goodwill does not have fitting rooms. You pretty much have to buy the clothes so you can go home and try them on. Their return policy is that you will not be refunded, you get a Goodwill gift card. Thirdly, if you buy something in a different area or state and need to return it at a different store, Goodwill cannot accept the return because it is not in their district. So Goodwill is not Goodwill as in one general company. I would have to go all the way back to the area/ store I bought the item from to return it.

Dropped off some wonderful memories of my mother, Christmas decorations, and more than I can write. Young man who took the stuff in was so very nice.
