- SPSafiy ParrayJul 2, 20251.0Unfortunately had a poor driver fitting experience. They don’t have a lot of shafts to choose from (I was given a ping shaft, an old r7 shaft, and tensei). He just tried to sell me the new g440 from my g430 and said it was 10 folds better. My swing isn’t the best, I fade the driver a lot but went to club champion today (they’re half the price btw) and got fit into just a new shaft that gives me perfect cut.
- MMMelissaJun 4, 20253.0I purchased an hour swing evaluation for my husband and we feel he should have had a better experience. The staff was nice but, when asked, my husband specifically mentioned he would like to work on his driver. However, the coach who helped him only had him swing his irons. He gave him a few good pointers but did not work on the one thing he went in for. The coach didn't even let him take the driver out of his bag for a single swing. Then after the evaluation, the conversation became a sales pitch. Not sure if the coach intentionally left the driver out of the equation in order to get him to sign up for lessons or if there was another reason? Maybe it would have helped if the coach gave him a reason as to why he was having him only swing his irons instead of the driver. The evaluation is not cheap, neither are the lessons, so it would have helped if more explanation was given. I'm giving 3/5 stars because my husband only went in for an hour and maybe there are better coaches available but I do feel less should be given.

I have improved so much and it's all thanks to Cam! Not to mention he's also a great guy and a pleasure to spend time with each week!! If you need help with your swing or are just starting golf and need guidance, couldn't recommend Cam and GolfTec enough!!

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
