After purchasing, I had an issue out of his control and he worked with me to figure things out. Will definitely be visiting them again and you should to!
- BPBrian PettetMay 26, 20255.0Taylor Ratliff was excellent during my recent club fitting. We both found out with my age and current physical limitations my current equipment is good for now. My current equipment specs are not "normal" and beyond most OEM offerings, but we got close. Taylor even recommended a competitor that possibly had more offerings. He warned me they may try to drive me to more expensive offerings. During my research I have heard the same issues about that "competitor". We discussed all my issues from tech info, hitting surfaces, and my swing mechanics. I decided to take a few lessons since my last ones were 2 years ago with Golftec and they got me right then. I considered the cost of the fitting well worth the "honest" conversation and findings I got.

After about 6 months of working with Ricky I can say I highly recommend working with a teaching professional here if you are serious about improving your game. I have dropped my handicap about 6 strokes and am driving the ball further than I ever have. What I liked most about working with Ricky is he doesn’t paint with a broad brush. He made individualized changes to my swing that were achievable, and made sure I understood why we were changing them and how it would affect the golf swing. I hadn’t broke 80 my entire golf career and I put 4 rounds in the 70s this year. It’s a bit pricey, but if you’re serious about getting better it’s worth every penny.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
