- WWWolfbauerOct 20, 20251.0I was completely disappointed in the process. I went in for a Driver/Wood fitting and once I revealed that I was not going to purchase the clubs from GolfTEC they truncated the evaluation and didn't provide key information such as shaft weight, length etc. therefore limiting my ability to use the evaluation to purchase clubs that best fit my swing. Of course, GolfTEC still charged me the $95 swing evaluation. Completely dissatisfied.

That may be accurate but there's a much more tactful way to say that. I felt very uncomfortable during the session and would never go back to that coach.

- BDBrian DaleySep 14, 20251.0Waste of money. My golf game suffered from taking these lessons. They wanna change your swing, no matter how good you already are. If I could swing like a pro naturally does, I’d be one. But at age 53, I’m clearly not a pro so dont compare me to one. For thousands of dollars I expected to learn something but got nothing. And they expired my lessons because I didnt use them in time. Oh and they bait and switch with high pressure sales tactics. Promising you a round of golf with instructor only to find out later that it’s an extra, very expensive fee. If in the St Petersburg area, I hope you dont get Hank as an instructor/salesman.

My instructor was Hank and I have nothing but praise for him.He has put the fun back in my game and I am once again a competitive golfer my handicap has gone from 11 to a strong 6 in a matter of5 months. If you have any doubt about lessons do your game a favor don't buy new clubs SEE Hank.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
