- EWEric WallaceAug 23, 20245.0I’ve been playing golf for years with no formal instruction, and while I could hit the ball okay, I had a lot of flaws that I didn’t even realize. After just four lessons with Justin Villarreal, my game has improved dramatically. Before, I was hitting my 7 iron around 165-170 yards, which I thought was pretty good. Now, I can consistently hit light draws and even shape my shots both right and left on command. After my most recent lesson, I put everything together and hit 8 out of 10 shots with my 7 iron within a 10-yard spread, all landing between 199-204 yards! At 55 years old, I never thought I’d be seeing these kinds of distances, let alone with this level of consistency. I’m honestly blown away by the progress I’ve made in such a short time. If you’re serious about improving, just listen, practice, and commit. Justin knows exactly how to tailor the lessons to your needs and help you achieve your goals. Highly recommended!

Never even introduced himself. “Room 3, here are some drivers. Hit some more.” Young people have no idea what “service” is anymore. Good thing we have options!. For management, don’t worry about reaching out to me. Perhaps hold a brief seminar on customer service instead. I will be spending my money elsewhere.

Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
